Putting Our Fitness to the Test

This week we launched a brand new website for Fit Solutions a Townsville based Health & Fitness centre.

Owned by former Cowboys player Danial Stickland and business partner Rob Innes. The website helps the guys promote the myriad of fitness solutions and products (through an ecommerce section) to their clients and also allows them to interact on a daily basis when they post their daily session results and let their participants contribute comments. This gives Fit Solutions a real sence of community with their clients.

Rob kindly donated his time today to write about his experiences in developing a website with us.

I began my search about 6 months after my business partner and I decided that we needed to look at future proofing our business a little more. A website was the first big box that we needed to tick. We started a search through google which brought me onto OracleStudio. Without much a clue to what we needed I arranged an initial appointment with Michael. In the meantime I started to research some of Oracles works. I liked what i saw. A modern design structure, featuring crisp, functional and vibrant designs. This is what would help distinguish us from our competitors.

We accepted Michaels proposal to build our site after the first meeting. Oracles setup is very professional and way the Michael and his team tailored the initial design to our needs was great. It gave me all the confidence in the world that we had chosen the right team for our job.

We gave the Oracle team a specific task of a functional site that was usable for the first timer and IT beginner yet as the same time offered the experienced fitness enthusiast and internet savvy a site that they would keep revisiting on a daily basis. It included calendars, news posts, blogs with comments and even at one point an entire new website within a site.

Our site is now live and from the feedback received so far is fantastic. Along the way I changed my mind 1000 times which was never a problem for Team "O" as my requests were taken on board and adapted immediately. I definitely would recommend Michael and his team for anyone looking at enhancing their E-traffic and talking their business to a whole new level.

NQ Bio Energy partners with OracleStudio

We are proud to announce that the North Queensland Bio Energy Corporation have found a development partner in OracleStudio to develop their website to launch the new venture.

North Queensland Bio-Energy Corporation (NQBE) is planning a $400 million (AUD) state-of-the-art sugar/ethanol/power generation project at Ingham, 100km north of Townsville in North Queensland, Australia.

The facility, designed on similar lines to existing plants in Brazil, India and Thailand, will produce approximately 335,000 tonnes of sugar annually, have a flexible distillery capacity of between 90,000 and 250,000 litres of ethanol per day, and generate between 75-85 MW of renewable "green" power. That's enough to power the entire city of Townsville!
